Following a new directive from Brussels, the Health & Safety Executive have recommended that, wherever possible, bright colours are used draw attention to hazards. With this in mind, the Parish Council have decided to use a range of DayGlo colours on the various iron railings around the Parish.
The Parish Council would like the decision on which colour to use to be made by Parishioners. The Village Blog has a graphic of the available colours and it would be very useful if Parishioners could air their views on the Blog so that the Council can make a democratic decision.
Please note; some of the colours (Yellow, Orange, and Green -see above) are also available in a florescent finish. It’s anticipated that these will be the most popular choices, so a very quick decision is required – ideally by lunchtime today.
